Fix a Squeaky Shoe

My husband has a pair of leather squeaky shoes which are very embarrassing to wear. How can this problem be addressed?

WD40! I used it this morning on a pair of Nikes that I hated to wear due to the squeaks and it worked. I love the internet. Trust me, use this, use something. There are a lot of suggestions on this site. There's no reason to have a nice pair of shoes collecting dust. (01/22/2010)

I popped out the insoles and used the WD40 with the straw attachment by the way. It took all of 3 minutes. (01/22/2010)
