Fixing a Disappointing Dye Job?

Fixing a Disappointing Dye Job - very light gray endsI had not dyed my hair in over 12 years and had dark brown hair with grays coming in which kind of looked like highlights, but I wanted a change as much as I liked my hair. So on 1/27 I bleached most of my hair minus the roots and then dyed my whole head. The results where orangy/yellowish pictures below. Fixing a Disappointing Dye Job - gold blond

I was not happy with the color so on 2/3 I bleached my entire head, then I toned it and then I dyed it! Fixing a Disappointing Dye Job

I figured to just go all out and do platinum. Fixing a Disappointing Dye Job - roots and platinum hair

Now my roots are gold, some strands are gold, others white, and the ends are grayish. Picture below. I want one single tone on my head! Now I don't know if I should buy dye and go a darker blonde or if I should just go back to dark brown and call it a day. Please advise. I would like resolve it like in the next few days! The more you keep dying your hair, the more the ends will get dry and damaged. You said that you've bleached your hair twice now and dyed it several times too. I'd really stop what you're doing at home and go to get this done professionally. Otherwise, you will just damage your hair more. You'll need dome of the dry ends cut off now to try and save the rest of your hair. I personally don't think you'll have any other choice but to go and have this done.

Thank you Im giving it a break at least til the 16th and Ill go to a salon to get it evened out, or maybe do a reverse balayage. Since I dont need bleach the may just be able to re dye my roots close to my natural color so I have less upkeep!

If I were you, I'd go to a beauty school and have them fix it. The prices are reasonable and the students are very carefully supervised

I'd work my way back into a golden brown so upkeep is easy when more whites start coming through :)

for what it's worth i think your hair looks lovely

it is said that ash tones are good for evening out tones but probably the above advice is correct and you should let a pro sort it
