I had an acquaintance who is a cosmetologist do my hair, she told me that stripping my hair would be the best option. However I've been doing my hair for two years and I've never had a problem reapplying color after color. I listened to her, stripped my hair and it turned into this orange blonde color and then she colored my hair immediately after. The color turned out completely wrong.
My ultimate goal was to become a dark purple and it's definitely more red with some blonde orange tones in it. I just don't know what to do right now. What would my next step be to achieving my dark purple color after doing the stripper in my hair? Not to mention my ends are completely messed up after doing that stripper. I should've never done it and I already knew it was a mistake, but I let her do it anyways.
Can someone please help me and direct me to what I need to do next to achieve my dark purple plum color? Do I just put color on top of color now? Which is probably what I should've done in the first place.

At this point, especially with your hair ruined at the ends, I'd suggest you put purple over it and trim your ends. If it ends up looking a maroon-purple tone since you're going over red-orange, apply a semi perm purple with a blue base to it in 3 weeks.
Im beating myself up for listening to her. I knew I should have just done that. She insists that it wasnt the stripper that ruined it lol
