We need help replacing the flooring in our condo, we live in southern Nevada. I've talked to several agencies Rebuilding Together, Habitat for Humanity, and more. None of them knew where to refer us to, but they said the did know there was help here just did not know who could help us. We're on a limited income and can't afford much if anything at all. We're both seniors in our 60s on Social Security with some health problems. What resources do we have here in Las Vegas, Nevada? No one seems to know. Are there any federal programs for seniors with a limited income.

Try HUD.org
Sending up prayers that you find a solution. This is a challenge no matter where you live. There are programs, but many have crazy criteria, long waits and all kinds of restrictions. I hope one will work for you!! The links to what I located are below as well as another suggestion:
www.clearinghousecdfi.com/
nevadalawhelp.org/
The other suggestion is to set up a go fund me request for your situation. Friends or family may want to help you but not know how. This site lets you set up the request and ask for help.
People can be quite generous. We used this service for a friend in crisis and it helped tremendously. You have a computer and if you are on social media like Facebook you can get the plea out there.
Prayers for a solution!
One problem is that replacing flooring, almost like replacing roofing is very expensive and would take a huge chunk out of any of these agency's budget. That would mean for one benefit like yours they may be able to help 20 less expensive jobs.
Thanks for the information. I have not forgotten about your problem and will post something that might be of more help with your problem in the next few days.
