This is my favourite raisin bread as it's super fluffy and chewy. I'm not really keen on the heavier ones that are spiked with cinnamon to have in the morning, so this is a nice alternative. It also makes an awesome sandwich bread. The raisins go amazingly well with meats and veggies!

I'm definitely going to give this a try. I love raisin bread but I'm allergic to cinnamon and bakeries don't make the bread anymore without it unless it's on special order, which I'm not about to do.
Since I was a kid, our traditional Easter morning breakfast has always been toasted raisin bread and hard boiled eggs (the ones we colored and stickered). Now I can enjoy the raisin bread toast with the rest of the family again.
