Colored foam boards are amazing. I have made flowers from them and now I'm going to make a bowl out of it. It's cute and great to display as a centerpiece.
Supplies:
- 1 piece foam board
- at least half meter paper twine
- single hole puncher
- scissors
- pencil for marking
- round pattern
Steps:
- Trace a round pattern onto the foam board.
- Cut out this round shape.
- Fold it in half but only crease the edges (see second photo).
- Make 8 equal folds which will then create 16 lines on the edges. Mark these points.
- Cut the markings at least 1 1/2 to 2 inches long toward the center of the circle.
- In each cut out, make 2 holes in the corners using the single hole puncher. (I lost my puncher so it's okay to use scissors)
- Put two holes from different sides together.
- Insert the twine in the next set of holes.
- Continue till it reaches the last set of holes.
- It should form a bowl now. Secure the twine by making it into a bow.
