I bought my daughter a Disney princess tutu and started noticing that the foil decorations on it where falling off. I went to the store and returned it because I thought it might have been a faulty one. I came home with a new one and added Mod Podge Fabric-Tissu-Tela..? and I only managed to do about half the tutu and kinda gave up. Why did I have to repair something that the companies should have thought about. Then this past Christmas my mother gave her Hello Kitty dresses with foil decorations all over it. And now I just do not know how to avoid the foil from falling besides just storing them away. Please help.

Unfortunately there is no good way to prevent the foil stuff from coming off. I see this same complaint among many moms/dads. One mom, I can't remember where I saw this..but she suggested making your own flashy decorations by buying plain items and using silver or gold thread and an embroidery sewing machine.
I have been wanting to purchase a sewing machine. Because my mother keeps telling me she will me one but then doesn't. So whenever there is a hole in the clothes. I have to sew it by hand.
I usually inside out and wash on delicate cycle for tulle or delicate dresses. Is there a care guide on the label?
sorry for the late reply some dresses say hand wash others say wash with like colors.
some dresses say hand wash and others with like colors and cold water. But somewhere they still managed to fall off.
