Two months ago I bought a an Empisal serger. I have only used it twice. I was using it today when the foot stopped, the light was still on. I tested the foot on my sewing machine and it was working fine, but when I put it on the serger it was not working. Can anybody help me by letting me know how I can fix it or what might be the problem? Thanks.

Try looking into your bobbin and thread housing. Often threads and fabric collect in your machine as a build up making it to sensitive for continue use. Also make sure machine/serger is on a flat even surface , this also can hinder production.
Check the connection on the foot pedal and make sure nothing it blocking it from being pushed down. Also look at the wire connection to the pedal and the sewing machine. Make sure it is tight and there isn't an issue there. If you can not find any issue with the foot pedal then it is time to take it back to the store for warranty repair.
