My 2001 Ford 150xl v6 heater was making a flapping sound for awhile and has stopped. It stopped blowing heat, but would work by tapping the heater now there is no heat. What is the problem?

Check your heater blend door motor.
My girlfriend has one and same issue. Good year couldn't find a hose and I called several states away and auto parts stores. The local dealer is aware and Ford isn't making the part. There is even a city vehicle parked. The local dealer is quick to take a hundred bucks or more for deposit but no one knows we hen or if it will be made again. Good year made a fix rigged something up. If we go out of town we take my we 017 Silverado.
