I found these small purple eggs on my clothes peg. Does anyone know what insect laid these eggs, should I get rid of them or are they harmless? Would be grateful for any help.

This looks to be Moth eggs. There are over 160,000 species of Moths. There eggs are very small, and can lay between 40 to 1000 at a time. Moth's can destroy a garden as well as plants, fabrics, woven materials inside your home as well.

Normally moths or whiteflies will lay eggs like this. This is very common and there are so many different types of moths around the world. I do believe these are moth eggs because of the pattern and the way they have been laid. Moths can lay so many eggs at one time and when hatched the babies will immediately start to feed on the plants in your garden.
Hard to tell. Might be beetle eggs?
