Are the pants washable? If so mix one part water, one part clear amnomia, and dish det. (reg dish det.) pour into a spray bottle. Then shake it up and spray on the spot that you want cleaned. And just wash the pants. The spot should come out.

My 18 year old daughter thought the world had ended when she got foundation makeup on her new top an hour before she was due to walk out the door. I, Mum, not being in the best of moods cos she woke me up to disclose this drama, hit the marks with Spray & Wipe and rinsed it off as I couldn't be bothered with anything else.

Worked a treat ... and has a lovely fragrance, lol.

I bought a dress that had foundation on the white collar. The foundation type was unknown to me as the shop had gave the dress to me at a discounted price. As I couldn't afford to send the dress to the dry cleaners I used Gilette Sensitive Skin Shaving Cream on the stains. After scrubbing away at the stains for about 5 minutes they became unnoticeable. I put the dress in the washing machine and the stains are gone there is no evidence there was foundation on the dress.

I got light liquid foundation on the dark brown part of my bedspread. I sprayed a liquid stain remover [Oxiclean] and it did nothing.

Then I sprayed the same stain remover on an unused toothbrush ans scrubbed the stain and then wiped it clean and it was GONE!!!

DISASTER!! I unpacked my suitcase and my foundation was everywhere in my make-up bag. On cleaning it out I got brown foundation over my cream linen trousers. I tried every propriety cleaner to clean it off but without success and I was prepared to throw them away but as I last resort I turned to Google.

Shaving cream as an answer seemed crazy but I had nothing to lose and - nothing ventured nothing gained.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I followed the instructions and my trousers are like new!!

OMG never in the world would I have ever thought of shaving cream. Just reading thru posts as I was fuming that my long-wear foundation just squirted on the front of my new North Face sweatshirt. I had already tried Dawn, makeup remover & washed after applying some detergent directly on stain...and nothing, barely faded. So I jumped up, grabbed my husbands shaving cream (gel) squirted on stain, & rubbed in for a few minutes w/scrub brush. I cannot even find stain myself. Thanks for saving my night (& my new sweatshirt)

Dawn dish soap always works for me.

The best thing to do is use a dry cleaner. I got some make up on a new shirt of mine. I took it to a dry cleaner and it came back looking new again.

It's better to use a dry cleaner especially if you are unsure how to remove it. Just never dry the spot otherwise it might set and not come out.

Sally Hansen airbrush leg make up apparently is worse than regular make up cause shaving cream did nothing

I just did this to remove Sally Hansen airbrush legs from a pair of white capris. So, if the stain is on white or light colored clothing, first rinse with cool water from the opposite side of the stain. Get a toothbrush, dish liquid, (I used Seventh Generation) and some peroxide. Put some peroxide in a Dixie cup, put some dish soap on the brush and start working it into the stain, then dip the brush in the peroxide and continue. The stains that transferred from your body should come out easily.

If you got a blob on your clothes like I did when applying the makeup, it will take a lot longer to get it out, but you will see it continuing to lighten. Keep at it, and periodically rinse with cool water, and start the process again. It took about 45 min of scrubbing, but I got it all out. Then wash in cold water as usual. Note: If you don't get all the stain out, the heat from the dryer will set it permanently.
