I am receiving SSDI and am in need of free or inexpensive living room furniture. If anyone knows where I can get a couch, that would be great. God bless.

Haven't you had one before getting on disability. However, go to your local Salvation Army (the office part) and tell them you need a couch and they will give you a voucher to take to their thrift store, for a free couch, providing they have some free furniture. From what I understand, when people need free stuff, they don't get to pick from the better quality furniture. You will need to have a way to transport it yourself (in most cases.)
Also, they will have inexpensive furniture, as will other thrift stores. Don't you have anything to sit on, in your living room? If you do, a couch isn't a necessity. You could also speak to your pastor, about needing a couch, he might know somebody in the congregation that has a spare one, that they would be willing to donate.

Think outside the box. If you don't have anything to sit on try an inexpensive lawn chair. If you can't find a sofa at the thrift store why not a chair or recliner. When you can't afford to buy you take what's available.
