With the abundance of produce coming out of our garden I was thrilled to read that you may freeze small tomatoes whole to use in recipes through out the year!
Simply wash, let dry, and lay out small tomatoes on a cookie sheet and place in your freezer until frozen. Then put them in a freezer bag for individual removal at a later time. They are great in soups, stir fry and even on pizza. No time spent over a hot stove canning them.

Great tip. Thanks for posting
A friend and I had a lunch wagon we set up at estate sales, things like that. When we switched over to an espresso drive through, we had sliced green pepper, tom's and onions. We popped them in the freezer and promptly forgot them.
Wow...the cottage cheese is what surprises me.
I have frozen whole green peppers for years now but when I try cheeses it can be a whole new experience...;-) Thanks!
this is the best idea ever, someone else told me she does that she cuts hers in half just puts them in containers and freezes them it saves time and then you can take it out put it in your food processor or blender and use!
I had a bunch of plum tomatoes that I froze (they rattle around in the ziplock bag like rocks till used- haha). But I found that when they thawed to use, the skins just slip off !! WOW. Too Easy.
