Can I freeze cooked spelt?

What is cooked Spelt?
Although I've never tried, I believe that you can. Cooked rice can be frozen, so it makes sense that other grains can be frozen also. Try a small amount to see what it turns out like. That way, you won't waste a lot if you don't like the texture or taste. I think that I'd try putting some in a container and try freezing some flat so the kernals are separate before transfering into a container. Maybe freezing some with a vacuum sealer too. You may get differing results with different methods and find you prefer one over another. I eat spelt a lot and am thinking of trying this also.
Sometimes, I'll cook a lot and refrigerate most for meals later that week. It holds up well, but would be convenient frozen for times when we don't have any readily done.
