Can you safely freeze lamb liver? If so, for how long?
Lesley from England
I don't see any reason why one couldn't freeze lamb liver. It's really no different than beef or chicken livers. Like most frozen foods, probably about three or four months is the longest you should keep. (03/07/2009)

We home butcher our own sheep and we freeze the livers. Just freeze like normal meat. When thawed you won't even know they have been frozen. We had some for tea last night and it was delicious.
