How long can you freeze a pumpkin roll before you can't use it?
By Christy from Wyoming, MI
Put it in a freezer bag and take all the air out, guess you can let it stay in freezer about 6 months, not sure about it, good luck.
I froze my pumpkin roll for 11 12 months. Wrapped it in press wrap x 2 and foil x2. Sprinkle lightly with powder Sugar after it thaws but go ahead and slice while still firm.
Yes you can freeze your pumpkin roll. I freeze mine on the sheet pan first to make handling easier. Then simply wrap tightly with plastic wrap, seal well to keep air out/moisture in, for short term freezing (up to a week). If longer time is required, wrap again with foil over the plastic wrap, should keep at least a month without frost bite taste.
