Make sure you use a freezer bag, and squeeze as much air as possible out of it.
Assembled pies can be frozen if cooked and without adding hard boiled eggs.

Yes you can. Be sure and put it in a freezer bag and all the air is out of it. I would not freeze it any longer that 3 months.
For future reference - statement from university safe food web site:
"You can either freeze the filling and mash separately (in freezer bags is fine) and add the egg once the filling has defrosted. Or, if you do not want to add egg, then the pie can be frozen whole."
