Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts Here is my updated take and twist on fried rice. This recipe is easy to make. The only time consuming part is cooking everything individually, but in the end it is worth it as this lasted us for 3 dinners!
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Yield: 12 bowls
Ingredients:
- 4 cups brown rice
- 2 lb ground pork
- 1 package Chinese style sausage
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 6 eggs
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce
- 4 Tbsp sesame seed oil
Steps:
- Rice option is your preference, but I used brown rice for a healthier alternative. I cooked 4 cups of brown rice. Follow instructions on the package, or cook in rice cooker with brown rice setting.
- Boil Chinese sausage, follow instructions (about 15 minutes or so). Then cool sausages and chop into pieces.
- Meanwhile, sausage is boiling you can cook ground pork with dash of salt over medium high. Sauté meat until cooked.
- Add peas and pour into bowl to set aside.
- Cook your eggs to your finished desire and set aside.
- When rice is ready, toss all ingredients together and gently combine together.
- Make dressing (4 tbsp soy sauce and 4 tbsp sesame seed oil) and toss. Ready to eat!
