My front loader washing machine spins all clothes well. But when loaded with towels it will only spin five towels at a time. If there are any more than that it will not spin.

Did it spin with towels before? Or is this a new issue. Did you change the setting to heavy when washing towels?
Towels sometimes shift to one side, causing an unbalanced load. This will cause it to stop on some models.
If this is a new problem (meaning it worked OK before and now it is acting up) you may want to call the company and get their take (either if it is new or an ongoing issue):
Is it still under warranty?
When calling be sure to ask about recalls just as a matter of safety.
