Fruit Dip Using Cream Cheese

I would love to have a recipe for fruit dip, one that uses cream cheese. All will be appreciated. Thanks and may God bless you in the New Year.

Fruit Dip Using Cream Cheese

Happy New Year!

Fruit Dip

  • 12 oz. cream cheese
  • small Cool Whip
  • small jar of marshmallow creme
    Advertisement

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Orange zest
  • 3 Tbsp. orange juice (or orange liqueur)

Mix the cream cheese with a mixer and powdered sugar till smooth, add the zest (about 1 tsp.), orange juice and blend well. Add the marshmallow creme, blend till smooth. Fold in the cool whip, taste. You should have just a hint of the orange, not too strong, taste as you go to the strength you like. You can use cherry liqueur in place of the orange or if you don't have the zest or orange, you can use some almond. Enjoy. The left over can be frozen. (12/30/2008)

Fruit Dip Using Cream Cheese

My favorite:

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

  • 1 tsp. vanilla
Beat first 3 ingredients together well. Add pecans and vanilla.

Amounts of pecans and vanilla are to taste. Some people add 1/2 tsp cinnamon.

There is never any of this left. I could eat it with a spoon! (01/05/2009)

Fruit Dip Using Cream Cheese

I worked at Kroger in the deli and this is the recipe for the dip we put in the center of the fruit trays.

  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 7 oz. marshmallow creme
  • juice from maraschino cherries - optional
Stir together cream cheese and marshmallow cream.Add juice from maraschino cherries to give it a pinkish red tint. You can add more juice to get the desired color. You can also leave out the cherry juice. Serve with any fruit you like.

I made this dip for my wedding reception 2 years ago and it went over fantastic. (01/06/2009)

Fruit Dip Using Cream Cheese

I worked at Kroger in the deli for several years and this is the recipe we used for the dip we put in the center of the fruit trays.

  • 8 oz cream cheese - softened
  • 7 oz marshmallow cream
  • juice from a jar of maraschino cherries - optional
Mix cream cheese and marshmallow cream together in a bowl. Add maraschino juice to the mix to give it a slight pink tint. You can add more or less to reach desired color. You can also omit the cherry juice completely.

Apple Brickle Dip

  • 1 ( 8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 package english toffee bits(use 71.2 ounces of a 10 ounce bag)
  • 3 medium tart apples( I use Granny Smith)
  • 1 (12 oz.) can lemon-lime soda

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugars and vanilla, fold in the toffee bits.

Halve, core and slice the apples and soak in lemon-lime soda to keep them from darkening. Drain and lay the apple slices around the dip bowl. (01/06/2009)

Fruit Dip Using Cream Cheese

  • 8 oz. strawberry cream cheese
  • 7 oz. jar of marshmellow cream
I mix it with a hand held mixer. It is terrific with all fruits. I really like it with strawberries and cantaloupe. (01/09/2009)
