Using and decorating old cans and wood, paired with a couple of flea market finds (salt can and cracker tin), turn it all into something fun and decorative!

Total Time: 1 hour
Supplies:
cans or jars
modge podge (or mixture of glue and paint) and paint brush
double stick tape
wood
printed vintage labels
Steps:
For the sign: Using modge podge or a mixture of half glue and half water, paint a piece of wood. Let it dry. Paint the glue mixture onto the back of a printed picture or design. Place onto wood, centering and pressing from the center of the design outward to the edge, carefully, to avoid wrinkles.
Add an additional layer of glue and water mixture. Let dry. Paint as many coats as you think it needs. I usually do three coats, letting it dry between each coat.

For the cans, use double stick tape to apply a label to a clean, empty can. This is a bottle I had and I used it as a milk bottle.
