Gold Post Medal for All Time! 555 Posts
You and your recipient will need a good sense of humor for this Incontinence cake for a birthday party but it raised a lot of laughs at our recent event!
Total Time: 1 hour
Supplies:
- 1 package (30) sanitary or incontinence pads
- 3 feet ribbons
- 30 rubber bands
- an empty paper towel roll
- a tray or platter
- bunch fake flowers
- 1 package birthday candles

Steps:
- Roll each plastic wrapped pad into a tight circle and place a rubber band around them.
- Place them around the empty paper towel roll until it goes completely around them. Repeat with a second layer wide. I happened to have two different color/style pads so I had two different colored ones at the end (purple and pink as in the photo). I think that looked nice.
- Place a big rubber band around the entire circle or pads to hold them together into a circular shape.
- Tie a ribbon around the outside of that base 'cake' to hide the rubber bands. I added 4 candles evenly around the cake at this time by stuffing them into the centers of some of the rolls. NOTE: We never did light them...
- Make a third smaller circle of pads for the next tier and repeat with the rubber band and ribbon.
- Place a bouquet (real or fake flowers, mine were fake) in the center hole of the paper towel roll/ second tier of the cake and place on top of the base.
Prepare for laughs!
