If you have to use your dryer in the Summer months, why not get the most from it? As we should all know, it is very important to clean the lint from your filter with every load, but you should also clean the filter screen itself once a month. You simply take the filter screen and wash with warm soapy water and rinse well.
You can also use a soft bristled brush. Just remember to let air dry completely before using again. What this does is removes the waxy buildup (from liquid and sheet softeners) in the tiny holes of the screen allowing air to travel through more efficiently. You will save drying time which in turn saves money and wear and tear on your dryer!
