Try using some ammonia in a hidden spot first. Put a little on a rag and keep dabbing and blotting.
The ammonia trick worked, but the half and half olive oil and white vinegar did not work. However, I didn't have any white vinegar so I used champagne vinegar (white but not the same). The white vinegar is processed, so it is different. The ammonia saved the day!
I put ultra dawn dishwash, I rubbed for 1 min and then wiped it with a wet cloth and it came off
Water spilled over on my wooden dining room table and a magazine was left soaking and then dried on the table. When lifted, a nasty ink stain was left behind. Tried windex, with no luck. I spread Dawn ultra over the stained area, lightly scrubbed with a dish scrubber and it worked like magic. Stain is completely gone!
I tried everything except sanding and refinishing. I got a few pencils, youll need a few because youll be wearing down a few, and erased the ink.
