Where do I get the coupons for produce in Pennsylvania? I believe they are state issued.

WIC here in Ohio gives coupons for produce, but you have to be pregnant, breastfeeding, 6 months or less postpartum, or be a child under 5. There are income guidelines that have to be met, but they are high compared to standard income guidelines for other programs. They also give coupons for other nutritious foods.
These coupons are available in Pennsylvania at the Senior Citizen centers. I'm not sure if all centers distribute them or only ones centrally located. You have to telephone the center and reserve your coupons. Then, pick them up when they are available. They are only available right before the Farmer's Market season begins.
Good luck!
The reason they are supplied by the Senior Citizen's Centers in Pennsylvania is because we have such a large population of Senior Citizens. PA has more seniors than the state of Florida! That is why it is referred to as The Grey State. We have so many people with grey hair.
The coupons are given by our state to benefit farmers and senior citizens.
