It probably would but boric acid is safer.
Are you seeing centipedes in your house?
Bleach can do so much damage to almost everything so I would hesitate to consider using it for anything like this - even if it worked.
Centipedes are not as dangerous as many people think but that does not mean we want them in our houses. Please read some articles about centipedes so you will know what steps to take to remove them and also to keep them from returning.
Here is a site with information about Diatomaceous Earth (food grade) - Just in case you are not familiar with this product. This can be bought at any farm supply store or on-line at eBay or Amazon (food grade only).
