Read former posts. 2 cups dry Borax for average size carpeted room. Leave for 2 weeks before you vacuum. Eggs, larvae and adults life cycle of fleas is about 2 weeks. Yard need cedercide granules. No poisons please.
Google shows the cycle, photo, etc. of all manner of fleas. I didn't know myself that there are fleas common to different animals. Who Knew?
You should be able to find a lot of good information. I know what is do is put a pie tin with warm soapy water on the carpeting/flooring under a lamp. They are attracted to the heat and the water, and the soap breaks the surface adhesion on the water, and they drown.
All good advice. I say whatever works. I also know they hate salt and some people sware by salting the carpeting one day and vacuuming up the next or a day later. Good luck. PBP
If they are fleas, from an animal in your house, consult your veterinarian as to their recommended way to get rid of them. After spending way too much money on stuff that didn't work, I finally bought the stuff the vet recommended and the fleas were finally gone.
If the fleas are on the animal you can get sulphur from the pharmacy mix it with lard and rub it on the dog!also the vets have advantage for fleas that I have heard works. If there in your house rugs etc, you will need pest control to spray your home! Good luck.
