I have a 7 week old Poodle/Chihuahua puppy named Liberace and he has fleas. I used hamster flea spray since I have hamster. It's not working! I give him a bath every day, but there's still fleas. I don't have a lot of money, so is there another way to get rid of them? The poor lil' thing is always itching.

There are still fleas on your pet because there are fleas hatching in the carpet, bedding, and upholstery.
You'll need to spend some time in the garden centre or pet aisle reading labels to find the right pesticide to use to rid your home of the fleas.
Then you'll need to establish a routine for keeping the fleas out, too-they'll live on outdoors in the soil and grass, and hop a ride right back into your home on the pet.

In summer is the worse time for fleas and all I can say is look at your natural options first. Essential Oils prove to help and great for your dogs+ other animals skin, You can buy natural in local pet stores but more value if u buy it yourself and mix. I hear dish soap and water works well in the back yard. Also take a look at dichotomous earth found in garden center areas ... cheap. Anyhow Google search will have a lot of great natural ideas!
Diatomaceus earth, garden grade, not pool grade. You can find it in the garden shop of about any store, or in feed stores. Dust your buddy with it, it causes fleas, ticks, etc to dehydrate. It is not harmful, just don't inhale it as it is a fine dust. You can also dust it on furniture, etc. Do a search for the product and you will probably find that ranchers even give it to their livestock in their food.
2 to 2 and a half cups of dry 20 mule team borax for each average size carpeted room. Dust throw rugs, his bed and furniture as well. Leave for 2 weeks before vacuuming for egg, larvae and adult stages. You might try sevin dust for the yard. Don't expose him to fleas from another dog/cat or area that is infested.
