I have 4 little dogs and spend a lot of time fighting fleas. I have been using Frontline Plus, but after a few months I have to switch because it stops working. I have used K9 Advantix ll. Half the time the bottles are empty and the other part of the time it does not work. We also have dust mites and bugs on the eucalyptus trees. I am from back east and there when it freezes it kills all the bugs, but out here it's a constant fight. I am very sensitive to the fleas so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Talk to your vet about total home solutions. Our vet is a fan of sentinel brand, which we have been blessed to say works and prevents whole house issues.
A previous vet had us use some topical crap that made my girlie ill. We didn't have our boy at the time. Not only did it make her sick, but it didn't work and I had to do all kinds of fussing and spraying and bombing the house.
It was like a miracle to start a product that works and didn't make the fur kids sick. Hope your vet has a good solution! Prayers for you and your pups

This is a question for your vet. I do know that you cant have excess shrubbery or debris in your yard because that encourages all kinds of pests.
We have very little trouble with fleas now that we give our dog Comfortis (or Trifexis, which includes heartworm). It is a pill that they take once a month. The pill is rather large so we usually cut it in half and wrap it in cheese or stick it inside a hot dog so that she eats it up.
Ask your vet about it. We get a 6 month supply and, as long as we remember to give it to her on time, we are not bothered with fleas at all.
Good luck!
