Use a spray bottle of 3/4 white vinigar and 1/4 water and spray the dog after he/she has had a bath.
Dawn soap is a gentle and effective way to safely rid your baby of fleas. Bathe them in this and they will be flea free!
I've heard ''Capstar'' is the best way! It's a tablet you give the pet and it starts working in a 30 minutes. You can watch the fleas die and fall off. Then I would recommend a flea comb to comb then entire pet out and make sure nothing is left behind.
Dry Borax in the carpet. Leave for 2 weeks before vacuuming to eliminate eggs, larvae and adults. Bathe with bar soap 2 x. Leave lathered for 5 minutes. Outdoors use care who comes into yard. Flea kill for yard is natural if you have good freezes and do not re-infest with even 1 flea. Cedercide (10 pounds for 12something $ ) goes a long way when spread by hand. No poisons please. NO flea collars, Dry Borax is best about 2 to 2 and a half cups for average size carpeted room.
Use in their beds, the throw rugs and places where there are fleas and flea eggs. Borax is a natural product that will kill the boogers for better than a year. You don't want worms either.
