We moved into a house that happens to have a mini farm right next to our backyard. We have 3 small/medium sized dogs and no matter what we do- including bathing daily, using those drops, flea collars, and I have used flea stuff and spread it out all over our yard in front and back, gotten rid of all carpet inside our home, we can not get rid of the fleas.
We don't know what else to do. The set up on the farm that's closest to our backyard houses at least 2 goats. I know that if our poor pups are coming back inside infested from simply being outside no longer than 20 mins, (and I mean each pup will literally have no less than 25-40 fleas on them when coming back inside our home. I've brushed the fleas and counted for myself multiple times.) then I can only imagine how bad off those poor goats are. Is there someone I can possible call to enforce the owner treating his animals as well as his property? Also, does anyone have massive flea killing suggestions?
Thank you!!

First off you need to call the county health inspector and make these people treat their farm for fleas and other bugs. That is the first step you need to take. Next step is to put fresh lime juice on the dogs. I use this here during the really hot summer months to keep fleas and ticks off my animals. Just boil up some fresh lemons or limes in a large pot and allow them to seep over night. Add the water to the bottle and put this all over the dogs daily.
You may need to take drastic measure in your yard to get rid of the fees. Here is a good site to help you out. pesthacks.com/
This is dangerous and there are a lot of people allergic to fleas. Call the health inspector and complain about this farm and make the owners do something about it to clean it up.
