I have these little brown bugs with little wings in my room. I cleaned it to see if they would leave, but they are still here. How do I get rid of them without making my room smell awful?

I've been dealing with these pests for awhile now. Look for yellow sticky fly tape. This does help keep them down. If you have plants use sand to cover the dirt. They burrow in the dirt, drink the water and lay eggs there. Just by chance I left a cup of tea with sugar on my table overnight. I've woken up to dozens of them floating. Also apple cider vinegar attracts them. Add a drop of dish washing soap and it traps them.
