A lady I take care of has this bug in her home. I clean them up and there are hundreds more. How can I help get rid of them?

They look like beetles. Make sure there is no source of food or water for them. Use an insecticide
The picture is too blurry. Sorry. You also don't say where you are located (which state) and where in the house you find them...like in the carpet, on the bed, in the pantry).
Usually with a few bugs, I don't worry, but a lot require first a good vacuuming of the entire house and clean everything down. On surfaces where you can, use vinegar and baking soda (or if you can, bleach--but don't mix the two.)
Take all of the cleaning supplies (and the vacuum bag if there is one) OUTSIDE to the trash away from the house as soon as you are done. Check all of the pantry goods and if anything looks like it was eaten or you find bugs, toss it and clean those surfaces with the appropriate cleaning material for what the shelves are made of.
If this doesn't work, she may need an exterminator. I hate them and the chemicals they use...but sometimes you have to call in the big guns. Be sure she is not in the house when they treat and that pets and small children are not exposed to the chemicals either.
Follow the exterminator's rules for next steps...and hopefully that will resolve the issue. Prayers!! Let me know how it goes!!!
