I have little red and black bugs. They're everywhere. There's a nest outside and there's millions. Help :(

I am in GA too & we had the same black /red bugs. From the research I did they are Box Elder bugs, they come from Box Elder trees. You must have the trees nearby . The bugs are creepy & are a nuisance, but not harmful. You can kill them by pouring very hot water on them (of course bug spray works too), just have to keep at it. They are attracted to light colors - white, deck wood colors (they swarmed my deck & white siding on house for weeks). Plug up any holes where ever they are swarming so they do not get in the house. They will go away eventually.
I have them too and went out and spent $11.00 on a can of bug spray from the hardware store. When I sprayed them it was if I was spraying them with water. Nothing! I read up on them and what kills them is water and a bit of Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. They just fell of the side of the house and died. Just know that they are not harmful to humans or your home.

I have red and black bugs outside my back door. They are also getting into the house the adult ones can fly; the babies are all red.

Are they a bright red with black. Do they sort of bunch up or huddle together? could be Japanese beetles.
If a dull black/brown with red, they might be box elder bugs which are a nuisance but don't bite.
