I have a terrible smell coming from in or around my daughter's room. I air out the room and it goes away. But as soon as I close the window the smell comes back. It is so terrible, it sort of smells like rotten milk or human urine. It is so strong. I have changed all the bedding, cleaned, mopped, and dusted and the smell is still there. I feel like it could be coming from the walls. Please help! I am in dire need!

There may be a dead and decomposing animal in the walls, floor, etc., of the room. An exterminator service can assess the problem and suggest solutions that will cost. However, if you do have a dead animal in the house walls, attic, etc., the decomposing body liquids will soak into the wood and the smell can continue for many months and even years. Sometimes, people have had to replace walls, floors, etc., as the smell continues.
