We need a diminished value appraisal for our automobile. We live in Tampa, FL. Any ideas where we can go?

Here's another link of collision claims that gives some more detailed info:

If you're not talking about a car that has been damaged you can look in your local telephone book for auto appraisers or to get a general idea of the value go to this link:

We used a company from Fort Pierce, FL that prepared its diminished value report using dealer quotes which the insurance company accepted. Without mentioning any names, the first "appraiser" we used took shortcuts and provided no dealer quotes - the insurance company rejected that one and the "appraisal company" would not refund our $400. The company from Fort Pierce is St. Lucie Appraisal and they only charge $225.00 for a comprehensive appraisal containing six (!) dealer quotes.
