I was pet sitting for my daughter's dog, Gidget. Our cat Numi, spent a day and a half trying to get Gidget to play with him. After lots of rubbing and head bumping he resorted to sharing her crate as a last ditch effort.
Generally speaking he failed in the play attempts. Gidget did finally make an attempt to play, but it involved her leaping at the cat. Of course, he ran for cover. I am sure they will learn if we arrange some playdates. But for now at least they get along just fine.
I tried to get a better photo, but of course as soon as I moved closer they both came out of the crate.
