Don't worry, we ended up planing a party for her and invited all of her best friends! She loved it!
How about making her a coupon book? It will require you to do some thinking about what she'd like, but you can make as many as you want. Here are a few ideas. "This coupon entitles you to one breakfast in bed made by your child, 24 hours notice required." "Present this coupon and the house will be vacuumed without complaint." "With this coupon you will receive a foot massage." Think about all the things that would make your mother's life a little easier and more fun.
