Recently my dad was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Since Christmas is coming soon, I wondered if anyone would have any ideas for a Christmas gift for him? What does one buy for a dying person? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.
One of the most meaningful gifts I've ever given was an embroidered blanket! I sent it to my grandma when she was diagnosed with cancer and she absolutely loved it. I got mine at www.warmembrace.com. The people there were amazing to work with and I got everything I wanted and more!
Sorry to hear about your Dad
A gift of something that makes him smile then you can
Smile every Xmas when you remember how he smiled reviving it.
Tried that website but they are no longer accepting orders and it looks like the business is actually up for sale
Write a sincere letter to your dying loved one about how they have influenced you. How have they helped, what have you learned from them, why do you love them, what do they mean to you. A thoughtful answer of why you love them so much is the very best gift for anyone , dying or not. It has a profound effect. Encourage other loved ones to write what they appreciate about the person. Having it written means they can reread whenever they like.
