GooGone works to get the remaining wax (and color) out of the tablecloth! Who knew? Pour GooGone over the remaining stain after you have scraped the wax off. Let it work for a while and rub a little. Pour boiling water over the stain. Wash in hottest water the fabric will stand, with bleach or Oxiclean. All the new (but not last year's) stain came out! I was amazed - never would have thought of GooGone!

Unbelievable. Incredible. Red candle wax spilled and splattered all over our white Christmas dinner tablecloth and we thought a professional dry cleaner would be the only option... besides trashing it! Then I googled the Goo Gone thing and couldn't believe it. No more red candle wax... not a trace... not even a dim red shadow. I showed my wife and she incredulously asked "what the H _ _ _ did you use?" When I told her, we both started cracking up. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
