You don't. Grasshoppers lay eggs, and trust me, they need no help from you! They are more than capable of reproducing on their own for many, many generations.
I want a grasshopper pet
My lubber grasshopper is currently laying eggs, she seems to have one stuck! She is having a hard time walking and climbing...what do I do!?!
Open her ovipositor and sit her down and she will hold her abdomen while her ovipositor opens up gigantic if that don't help then dig the eggs out of her ovipositor and abdomen and oviduct.
It might be best to keep her warm and place food for the babies clovers or tender shoots
Keep the mom warm and get prepared to feed the babies
