Today I found a grasshopper in the salad I bought from the supermarket.
It is about 7 cm long, brown with a dorsal orange stripe, probably a Anacridium aegyptium (Egyptian grasshopper). I do not think it is safe to put it outside (as I live in Germany and it's currently winter <0°C). What would be best to do with it?
Can I keep it in terrarium? What would be best to feed it as there are no fresh greens outside during winter? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Yes, you could keep it in a terrarium, as long as you can provide whatever it eats. If it was me, I think I would search outdoors for a protected spot under a pile of leaves or bark or even compost, and make a small hole to put the insect in and then loosely pile some leaves over it. A lot of insects burrow into material like this to spend the cold months in a state of hibernation, so it will most likely survive if you can find such a spot.
You could take this to any garden center and ask them to identify it and let you know how to care for it.
You could keep in a terrarium with a ventilated screen top. Sunlight and airy helps. Also twigs and other vegetation will help with your hoppers surroundings until the weather permits if you should decide to let out , into the world.
