I have had a H2O mop x5 for just over a year and used it successfully several times. Today, however, I filled it with water and switched it on and it tripped the electric. I tried it later and the same thing happened. Is it a quick fix or should I buy a new one?

I am not familiar with this type of mop. Does it heat the water? I'm not sure why it should trip your breaker. Have you tried plugging it in to a different outlet? My first guess is that it is the breaker that is faulty, and that you have a heavier load on that breaker today than you have had in the past. Have you something else plugged in on that circuit that you haven't had previously -- a microwave, a coffee maker, for instance? If the mop works on another outlet, then there is nothing the matter with the mop. If it trips every breaker, then it likely is defective.
I have had exactly the same fault (must be built into the design!). I have tried it on several different sockets and it trips the breaker each time. It doesn't come on so I suspect the motor is shorting somewhere. The appliance is not cheap and I haven't used it that much over the year and suspect it's just out of warranty.
Same thing happening with my mop steamer used before , tried turning everything plugged in off in kitchen but still trips, the actuall plug is not screwable to change the fuse. Please is this a solution you may be able to help with. Got normall electricity box.
I had the same thing I got the hump in the end and threw it out
Hi. I brought this 2 years ago at first it was good. Then 2021 it would start leaking water from the bottom. Ther in December 2021 it kept on tripping my electricity. I contacted thane direct absolutely jokers. No customer service at all.
Bought not Brought
Same here. Took it apart & found water tank in very bad shape & leaking onto electrics. Edge seal of cover not a good design & cracked in places where the clear plastic lip seal had disintegrated
My H2O is driving me mad I have had the same thing happen constantly sick of the thing tripping the electric, thrown it away and got myself a new bucket and mop...
I have the same problem with my H2O. Any suggestions? Don't want to throw it out if I can get it fixed. Thanks
Throw it out I'm on my 2nd H2O and both times this has happened . I'm emailing the company to get an answer
