My steamer is leaking water at the bottom of the main part, through a little hole in the plastic on the left of the picture, near the main nozzle. I've tried clearing the nozzle hole, but didn't make any difference. Any suggestions if it could be fixed or if it's had it?

Most of the sites talk about the steam in the mod and why it won't steam. It does say if the mop is leaking water it can be because the bottom seal is not sealing correctly to start off check this one. Not sure this one will help it and to me it sounds like you have a gasket problem that is not sealing your tank that is causing the leak. They do indicate if the pressure builds up in the tank and can not steam from the nozzle it is normally blocked. You did indicate that this one has been clans so I do not feel this is your issue. I think your issue is with the seal of the tank and it sealing in place and when the pressure builds up the seal is not holding so the water leaks out of the tank. Try replacing this seal.
This looks like a washer or seal that is expired or exposed. You could pull it apart and see if you can find a replacement part.
I'm not sure if you want to tackle taking it apart but you could try fixing it because otherwise it's just going to the bin - right?
I did a little research and from what I've found out the following video might help you fix your machine.
