I got my perm about two months ago. And I started to notice that I have what looks like a rat tail. Some parts of my hair are straight, but not all of it. How can I fix it?

If the perm is this old now you may need to get a new perm. You can try some curling gels to help with the hair to see if this does any good. Use a pick in your hair and do not comb or brush the hair. This can cause damage to the perm and make it straight in some places.
This is a older perm, and it is time for changes to your hair. Sounds like it's time for a new hair do, it is losing wave and growing out!
Perms can last up to 6 months generally, more or less depending on your hair and maintenance.
At this time, since you can't go back to the salon you could try using hot rollers (not heated) to fix the straight areas.
If your hair normally takes a perm Without any problems, it could be a hormone change. Another thought.......the solution may not have been saturated through all of the hair properly on the perm rods or you may have needed more perm solution.
