Hair Turned Orange After Dyeing

I was trying to get my hair to a light blonde color. My natural hair color is dark brown, almost black. I have lots of gray and I use black hair dye to cover it. So I went to Sally's beauty supply and purchased a hair dye stripper and it turned my hair to a orange brassy color. My roots where lighter and the long parts of my hair was darker orange almost red. Then I waited three days and applied bleach to my hair with a 20 volume developer doing the bottom parts first and saving the roots for last being that they were lighter in color. My roots turned blond, but the long parts of my hair are orange. How do I fix this? My hair is really dry and brittle.
