Photo Description
Have you ever seen perfectly half circles bitten into your plant/trees leaves? I was so shocked but with a little research I found out leaf cutting bees made this art work. These leaf cutting bees won't do any harm to the leaves or plant/tree, but uses the collected leaves to make nest for their young ones. I found it very interesting and had to share!

That's so interesting! When I was vacationing in Mexico years ago, I saw a plant that had heart shaped cutouts in the leaves. I think an insect bit into the budding leaves and the hearts showed up as it grew. I'll have to see if I can dig up the picture.
I've never heard of longan so I looked it up. It's related to lychee and rambutan, which I have tried before. I hope you grow lots of fruit. :)
That is very cool! I hope you still have the photo. At first, I thought oh no we must have some sort of insect pest trying to eat the tree. With a little research I found out they are bees!
Yes, longan is like lychee. My parents have a really big tree. This one is smaller and was gifted from my parents'. There are already some fruit growing from it! :)
