Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts
Here is an inexpensive decor piece you can make for your office, bedroom, or child's room. It is very simple to make and adds a nice touch to your personalized space.
Total Time: 25 minutes + paint drying time
Supplies:
- acrylic paint
- paint brush
- cardboard
- scissors
- washi tape
- embellishments
- ribbon
- scissors
- hot glue
- tape
- pen
- ruler
Steps:
- Using a pen and ruler, freehand and draw out the letter you would like to make on cardboard. (This is a great time to reuse any cardboard packaging you may have from online purchases.)
- Cut out your letter.

- Paint your cardboard letter. I used the color, Desert Turquoise. Feel free to use any color you would like.
- Time to decorate. Use any embellishments, ribbons, gems, stickers, washi tape, etc. you have on hand to decorate your letter.
- Determine the length of the ribbon. You need enough to hang your letter - whether you are hanging on the door or the wall. Then tape ribbon in place. (Note: you may need to have even weight distribution so tape extra ribbon on the back on the opposite side to make it hang evenly if you have decoration on one side heavier like I do).
