I live in a condo and cannot put anything on my windows. I can put it inside. I took a 9x12" piece of glass out of a frame and put a removable hologram window film on the glass. I want the rainbows to scatter across the room (the g-kids love it). I do not want a frame to take away from it. I figure if I try to drill a hole in top of each end the glass it will crack.
Somehow I need to know what to use to suspend the glass. I will end up gluing fishing line or something to each top end so suspend it from window ceiling inset. Glue or? I have not figured out if I need to put a strip of wood on top back only so ties would suspend to ceiling?

It sounds to me like you want to use a glass from a window and make a suspended glass that hangs in a room from the ceiling that can turn around. The safest way to do this is to get some strips of lead for lead glass that is used when banking stained glass. it is a small lead stop that fits around the edges of the glass and you use a solider iron and some solider to solider the joints at the end so they do not come off. Now all you need to do is take two small pieced of the lead strips and bend them to make the hooks at the top of the frame and solider these in place.
I love this idea. I will see if a local stained glass place will do this for me. I might be able to find strips of lead if I call around. I do not need the glass to turn around. I just want it to look nice.
