We have regency bronze color cabinets in our kitchen and the floor type is vinyl. We are planning to have hardwood floor in the kitchen. Please let me know what color (hardwood) floor do I need to choose. I am interested in contrasting colors. Would a butterscotch hardwood color be fine? Also, please let me know if the matching hardwood colors looks great in this case (with regency bronze cabinets).
Best Regards,

Whatever you do, be sure to take flooring samples home and lay them on the floor next your cabinets. Look at them in the daylight, with and without the lights on and later after dark with the lights on. Store lighting can distort the way colors look.
As far as the color itself, I would recommend a strong contrast between your flooring a cabinets, either lighter or darker, so that you don't end up with the look of endless wood. (08/05/2005)
